Dr. Desai completed her BDS from dental school in India, but inspired to pursue knowledge in advanced technology, she was motivated to attend dental school in the USA as well. She started her career here as a dental assistant, while preparing to apply to dental school. She was extremely thrilled when her persistent dedication for almost two years gained her admission to the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Desai is an active member of the American Dental Association and Connecticut State Dental Association. She is always thrilled to learn the latest dental technologies through continuing education year after year. She has been taking CE courses to incorporate Invisalign®, CEREC® same-day crowns, and laser and implant crown restorations, and has been successfully performing them on patients.
Dr. Desai is passionate about dentistry and strives to give excellent dental care to her patients. She works hard and is dedicated to providing quality dental care to all her patients for the betterment of their oral health. She also loves meeting new people and learning more about them. She firmly believes that every human being has something positive to teach and share.
Dr. Desai and her husband have two beautiful young daughters. In her spare time, Dr. Desai absolutely loves spending time with her family. Besides dentistry, she is passionate about dancing and writing. She loves playing table tennis, chess, and swimming, and enjoys watching American football with family.
